Attn. Contest Winners: Please check your Flickr mail for details re collection of your prizes.
The results are in, and it’s time to congratulate the winners of ProCamera’s first monthly iPhotography contest! There were many superb ProCamera iPhoto submissions to choose from, and it was difficult trim down to the finalists. Ten photos were posted on ProCamera’s Facebook Page and also on our Twitter feed. A special thank you to all those who voted for your favorites by way of Facebook “likes” were Twitter “retweets.”
(drum roll) The envelope please… And winners are…
- 1st Place > fomu
- 2nd Place > Michael Bunch
- 3rd Place (tie) > Alins74
- 3rd Place (tie) > linyijen
- 3rd Place (tie) > Robin Hunter
- 3rd Place (tie) > avbelow
Once the tabulations were made, it was clear that iPhotographer “fomu” had the #1 most popular ProCamera iPhoto. Perhaps it was the “pondering” expression of the lip-biting reader that captured everyone’s attention? Or maybe it was the interesting foreground/background perspective in the shot? Regardless, fomu’s black and white photo garnered the most votes. So the 1st place award, an OWLE BUBO high-end attachment lens for iPhone, goes to fomu!
Our 2nd place winner was an iPhoto of the immense steel bridge, taken by Michael Bunch. The rich textures and interesting perspective of Michael’s black and white shot made it an easy pick as a finalist. Michael wins a $25 iTunes voucher.
Third place was a “photo finish,” and by our contest rules, we had to declare it a four (4) way tie, as there were multiple finalists (Akins74, linyjen, Robin Hunter and avbelow) who each received the same total votes. So, being in a generous mood, ProCamera will award a prize ($15 iTunes voucher) to each of the four aforementioned 3rd place winners.
1st place:
• An OWLE BUBO for the winner
2nd place:
• A 25 Dollar iTunes voucher
3rd place:
• A 15 Dollar iTunes voucher
